About Jeri Bellini - Jeri has been interested in creating since she was a young girl. Sewing, all sorts of Textiles, Mixed Media before it was called that, and Fiber arts were always a part of her life, as was using old and discarded things.

She started a family early and was a stay-at-home mom. As her children got older, she decided to venture out and pursue something she had dreamed of her whole life...

To own her very own business, and in 1997 she became the proud owner of a brick-and-mortar retail bead shop called My Father’s Beads. Here, she shared her love of beading with many by teaching classes, sharing ideas, and inspiring others to be creative. She closed her shop after 12 wonderful years because of a health problem but continues to be creative in many other ways!

After this amazing 12-year-long journey she became very interested in recycling. She was tired of seeing things tossed from un-use, so instead of going to traditional stores to shop for art supplies, she began looking in more unique places. Flea markets, consignment, and thrift shops became a way of life.

She loves the feel of a textured, old, worn leather book cover; old crinkly, stained paper makes her heart sing! She can’t pass by a piece of vintage quilt or old lace tattered and torn without touching it... And she picks up rusty bits of metal when she finds them in the street!

All this to say, she is in love with creating new from old. She also has an overabundance of bits from her years of collecting, and with the love of running a business, she and her husband, Brian, have decided to embark on an adventure... Selling unique and unusual bits of history so others can also create unconventionally.

And on to a new life.
