Proddy Wreath Class - Saturday, November 30, 2024

$95.00

Saturday, November 30, 2024

10:30-1:00

Come learn how to create a proddy wreath. You can make the poinsettia variety or simply fill your wreath with wool proddy leaves and petals. You will learn how to do both at the class.

Fee includes wire wreath frame, linen, directions and wool. The wool for the poinsettia wreath is all measured out. The wool for the other wreath is a credit for 1.5 yards of wool from the shop. You can choose the wool ahead of time or the day of. You may also bring in wool that you have and use the credit toward something else at the shop ($50).

Proddy tools can be purchased for a discounted price of $30 (reg. $35).

Please bring sharp scissors to cut wool. They should be medium to large in size. Thread scissors are not appropriate for this class!

Light refreshments will be provided. You are welcome to bring in your own food as well.

  • proddy wreath kit

    • linen with pattern drawn

    • wire wreath base

    • template for the proddy flower

  • 1.5 Yards of As-Is Wool from The Bee & The Bear shop.

    • You may pick wool ahead of time at the shop or bring your own and receive store credit for the wool.

What to bring:

*hooking frame and proddy tool (or other device to pull the petals through the backing)

*the equivalent of 1.5 yards of wool– If you are bringing your own wool, bring at least three different colors. Odds and ends are fine to mix– petals are shaped from a 3” square so pieces should be no smaller than 3 x 3.

*embroidery thread to coordinate with wool (I use Valdani #8) – used to sew the prodded piece to the wire form (could be purchased from The Bee & The Bear the day of the workshop)

*scissors – (I use a 6”-7” Gingher scissor to cut wool petals)

If you have any questions, please contact the shop at 484-793-0181 or info@thebeethebear.com
